Why Do They Hate Us?
This from another brilliant Tribune editorial:
" Five years after Sept. 11, 2001, the enemies of America--of the entire free world--have not lost their resolve. Those who believe that the killing of a few terrorist masterminds cripples them all are deluding themselves. Terrorists probe the system for weakness and adjust their murderous strategy. And we must adjust too. That's how it is in war.
...Why do they hate us? What difference does it make? They do. "
Let me explain something to these peabrains. They hate us not because of our freedom. And not because of our (decadent) culture. Hell, I'm not even sure they really hate "us".
What they hate is our government's foreign policy. They hate that we invade their countries to keep our economy running. They hate that we side with other countries (read England and Israel), that occupy and wage war on their countries.
They hate us for the arrogance of the people in the media who think anything the liars in the administration tells them is coming from the lips of God.
And here's the reason it matters. Until we figure it out and come to some reasonable solution, we will have to deal with this crap forever.
Also.... GO SOX. I'm so proud of those boys. Bring out the brooms.
